What are you doing this Saturday morning? If you wanna get out and moving some more before the heat sets in come meet us out at Mission Trails for a hike up the South FortunaSummit.
We will meet at the Mission Trails Regional Park Tierrasanta Entrance, 11499 Clairemont Mesa Blvd, San Diego, CA 92124 and begin hiking promptly at 7:30am. We want to be moving early so we can finish before it get's too hot out so plan to arrive a few minutes early or you may be playing catch up on the trail :-)
I estimate and google map that the round trip should be about 5 miles. If we keep a good pace we should finish by 10:00am. There are some good inclines and a nice long set of steps set up with railroad ties.
Please prepare by bringing everything you need so you can have a good time:
- plenty of water
- sunscreen
- hat
- sunglasses
- comfy clothes to move and sweat in
- shoes to hike in
- your favorite doggo
- your favorite friendo
